Experience:
- 5+ years of experience managing and maintaining cloud-based infrastructure, with a strong focus on AWS services (e.g., EC2, Lambda, RDS, DynamoDB, CloudWatch, SQS).
- Proven track record of diagnosing and resolving infrastructure issues by analyzing logs (e.g., AWS CloudWatch) and implementing effective solutions to ensure high system reliability.
- 3+ years of experience executing code changes, refactoring non-performant code, and collaborating with developers to optimize application performance.
- 2+ year in architecting and deploying applications based on major cloud provider infrastructure (AWS/GCP/Azure). This should involve contributing to architectural decisions/modifications rather than merely maintaining applications hosted on one of the cloud providers.
- Hands-on experience tuning database queries, monitoring database health, and improving query execution efficiency for high-traffic systems.
- Demonstrated ability to implement and improve observability strategies, including monitoring, alerting, and logging to ensure system uptime and reliability.
